HELSINKI CENTRAL INSTITUTE

is a continuation of the first distance education institute in Finland (Keskus-Opisto S. O. Jussila), established in 1943 by Master Olavi Jussila. In those early days the media of education was printed mail, now almost 80 years later the main - but not exclusive -  media is online technology.

Helsinki Central Institute provides education at a wide scale, operating worldwide. The menu contains subjects from school curriculum to undergraduate and graduate courses of specialized topics such as mathematics, from consultation on tropical timber to Japanese culture. Helsinki Central Institute produces educational study materials and promotes efforts for Finnish educational export in various countries.
